IT offers lecture capture and podcasting support for instructors wishing to record their lectures in the classroom. Most instructors record the contents of their computer screen and the audio of their lecture. Lecture capture is easy, quick, and beneficial to students.
To get started using Relay for lecture capture or to have a profile added for Fall 2015, complete and submit a setup request form.
Here are a few benefits of recording your lectures and uploading them with Relay.
- All files are stored in a powerful media management system. There is no need to download iTunes, as you can add the video to D2L or any webpage.
- IT can place a feed of your content directly to the homepage of your D2L course, so all you have to do is upload them after you finish recording.
- Files can be recorded and uploaded from Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android computers and mobile devices.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. We would be happy to show you a demonstration of the different ways to capture your content and explain the process in more detail. If you wish to stop by, we are located in Polk 5, otherwise feel free to send any questions via email to me, Liz Bannenberg, at email@example.com.
