Benefits and Key Features
A cyber threat to a computer can occur two ways: when a computer has been accessed by someone without the user’s permission or when the system has been infected with malware, which could potentially compromise the data on the computer. The Division of Information Technology can analyze your computer to determine if data was disclosed and if any parties need to be notified of a possible identity threat.
Contact the Help Desk immediately if a threat is suspected either via phone at (920) 424-3020 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: Security incidents may be time consuming and may delay use of your computer. If you are unsure if something should be reported, the Division of Information Technology encourages you to call the Help Desk to discuss the issue. If it warrants further action, you will be informed at that time.
Lost or stolen computers: Please contact the University Police Department via phone at (920) 424-1212 so an incident report can be on file.
