The annual electrical power shutdown will again be held the last Saturday before Labor Day which this year is August 27th. Most of the campus will be without normal power from 6 am to approximately 3 pm. During this time Facilities will be performing preventive maintenance on the 12,470 volt electrical distribution system. Emergency generators will be running providing minimal lighting in hallways and entrances.
If anyone has a refrigerator or freezer in their area, this would be a great time to clean it out. Also make sure you shutoff your computers at the end of the day on August 26th.
Buildings not affected by the shut down are: Campus Center for Equity and Diversity, Lincoln Hall, ERIC building, Ceramics Lab, Multi Cultural Center, Campus Service Center, and Titan Stadium.
All campus servers should remain operational and accessible from off-campus.
